Afterlight may generate text reflections, guided letters, symbolic images, and short voice clips. These outputs are not messages from the deceased and are not proof of what someone would have said.

How generation works

The system uses user-provided memories and context to create supportive drafts. Prompts include safety instructions that avoid impersonation, supernatural certainty, isolation from real people, and unsafe content.

Voice remembrance

AI voice features require consent acknowledgements, product limits, review status, and export restrictions. Voice outputs should be treated as supportive readings, not identity replacement.

Images

Image generation is intended for symbolic memorial support, not photorealistic identity recreation, fake documents, or deceptive screenshots.

User control

Users can delete generated content and should be able to choose how much context they share. The safest experience is one that helps people carry love forward while returning to the present.
